We are currently performing emergency maintenance and anticipate full service to be resumed by 18:00
We will be completing a series of server upgrades to increase the amount of RAM in key servers. During the day you may experience a short period of circa 15 minutes when you will be unable to access you email or website. No email will be lost as a result of this system maintenance.
Our datacentre provider has advised us they will be conducting urgent power related working this Sunday, 14th September between 02:00 and 06:00 to resolve a potential issue with the mains supply. As part of the safety requirements it will be necessary to remove power from the entire datacentre for approximately 1hour during this window. Mains power we be reinstated as soon as health and safety will allow.
During this outage customers will be unable to access hosted services including web and email. However, our offsite DNS and Mail facilities will ensure that any mail delivered during this period is queued offsite ready for delivery to your mailboxes. This will ensure no email is lost or bounced as a result of this work.
We apologise for the short notice which is due to the potential stability issues identified and which will be remedied by this urgent maintenance.
We will be migrating all web servers between IP ranges on Monday 7th July 2008. This will result in a period of downtime of approximately 4 hours when you will be unable to access your website. During this scheduled maintenance anyone visiting your website will see a generic ‘website unavailable due to essential maintenance’ page.
This work specifically impacts upon Websites, all other services we provide including email will not be impacted by this work.
If you experience difficulties accessing your website for longer than 4 hours please ensure that you restart your Broadband router and computer to ensure that you are not using cached DNS records.
The migration outage will occur in the window 09:00 to 13:00 on Monday 7th July 2008.
We will be migrating mail servers between IP ranges this weekend. This will result in a period of downtime of approximately 1 hour when you will be unable to send or receive email. During this scheduled downtime inbound mail will be queued on our secondary MX servers.
If you experience difficulties accessing your email for longer than 1 hour please ensure that you restart your Broadband router and computer to ensure that you are not using cached DNS records.
Please note this does not impact customers that use our inbound and outbound mail hosting packages (eg. where we deliver mail direct to your mail server).
The migration outage will occur in the window 22:00 28/06/2008 to 02:00 29/06/2008.
